The Weston FC and Sunrise Sting Soccer Clubs would like to formally announce a partnership aligning these
already strong soccer organizations. This alliance will improve and strengthen the landscape of girls soccer in
South Florida. With Weston FC having the top platform in girls youth soccer in the United States Development
Academy and strong youth player development model, and Sunrise SC with its rich history of fielding top teams
in the nation and unparalleled player placement in top women’s college soccer programs, a combining of these
two powerhouse clubs creates the optimal environment for the elite player to develop, train, and compete.
The partnership will expand the player pool of talent for both organizations with players at each club having the
opportunity to play at the highest level in multiple premier showcase events and leagues including the United
States Soccer Development Academy.
Jerome Samuels will be leading the alliance as Technical Director to ensure the consistency of playing style
and development philosophy providing the best experience for all players in both organizations. Jerome will
head the Weston FC Development Academy and coach two teams in the DA.

Weston FC and Sunrise SC will be holding a Development Academy ID Clinic and Tryout on Monday, May
14th at 6:30 Tequesta Trace Turf Field A
All Players born in 2000-2005 interested playing in the United States Soccer Girls Development Academy
should attend this ID Clinic and tryout.
