Quotes

Head coach Victor Pastora

“We respect a top MLS academy like Chicago Fire and understand we must be at our best to succeed. This is a great opportunity and we look forward to the game.”

Captain Carlos Tellez

“At the start of the season I didn’t know what to expect. We had been national champion two years prior, but the team had split up a bit and lost key players to other opportunities. It wasn’t until the first game, which we won 4-1, that I realized we had the potential. Now 11 months later we could not be more excited. Despite injuries and obstacles throughout the year we have never given up. I have no doubt we have what it takes to be champion and will be ready to step it up again to secure a ticket to California for the semifinal.”

Weston FC Alum & USMNT Midfielder Alejandro Bedoya

“This is a great achievement for the club and it’s great to see how much talent there is here. This club has grown tremendously and everywhere I go people recognize the name. I encourage you [the players] to keep doing what you are doing and wish you the best of luck Wednesday night [July 6]”

Weston FC take on Chicago Fire at 5PM est Wednesday, July 6. The game will be at FIU Soccer Stadium. We count on your support and encourage fans and players alike to wear their Weston FC gear.
