Daniel Villega
Dani has been showing an interesting development as a goalkeeper. He has played exceptional games against strong teams like Doral Elite, leading the team and making important saves keeping his team in the game during the entire time. Dani has shown courage, intelligence and above all, a great GK technique. Voted constantly the MVP of games unanimously by his teammate. Well done Dani. Well deserved nomination…
Devin Zbinden
Devin played an outstanding match vs Clearwater Chargers displaying tons of poise and composure, especially in difficult moments. In addition, his confidence on the ball has improved tremendously over the past few weeks. Keep up the great work Devin!
Asher Olupona
He played a fantastic game this weekend again. Ash has been improve a lot from the back and having every game and practice a better point of view of the game… well done and deserved Ash ⚽??
Toto Basta
Had a complete game on Saturday controlling a tough opponent and directing his defensive line. Toto has been steadily improving every week, growing in confidence and dominating opponents.
Logan Barzola
Logan showed a lot of heart and gave us a boost coming off the bench. This was a major improvement for him which earned him more time on the field and made it hard for me to take him off the field. Most coaches only ask for a players max effort and that earned him player of the game and more playing time. Congratulations Logan.
Matteo Cortes
He is an excellent example of a team player playing both sides of the field, defending and attacking. He always has a great attitude and is supportive of his teammates.
Juan De Castro
Juan was chosen to captain his team today because of his unwavering commitment to the team and his hard work in games and practice. He had an outstanding game today and led his team to a victory by netting a hat Trick. One of the goals was a banger from mid distance. Juan is a technically gifted player that continues to improve his game each week and shows he has the potential to really move up the ranks of Weston FC in the months and years to come.
Joao Seda
Created multiple goal scoring opportunities by distributing the ball and setting teammates up in advantageous positions. He was instrumental in leading a comeback and ended up scoring in the last minute of the game.
Ethan Fowlks
Ethan scored the wining goal vs Chargers to secure the 3 points away this past Sunday. Phenomenal IQ of the game and superb speed!
Kaled Richani
He scored 3 goals today in one half in a 6-2 win away. Kaled was clinical in his finishing. He placed the ball to the lower corners rather than killing it strait to the GK like he does most of the time. I am happy for him as he had a big payday today. He has been frustrated by the number of easy chances he misses due to poor technique. Although he is the leading scorer in the team, he should be finding the net much more than he is. Scoring makes up for a lot of his deficiencies and I hope he will have the confidence now to keep it going and be more effective.
Mateo Sanchez
He played 2 extraordinary games this weekend, leading the team in a win and a draw! Keep it up Mate!
