James Medrano
Kept a clean sheet in the half he played. Two great saves and excellent distribution with his feet. Great performance
Colby Dernis
Not the starter at this position but has been working extremely hard to make it a battle with the starter and this weekend Colby inched one step closer to securing equal minutes at lb. Colby made three amazing crosses as well leading to one beautiful goal and an even better cross that the winger just missed connecting on.
Max Armando
Max Armando is captain and center back for U13 Reserves. His outstanding performance lead his team to victory over the weekend. His constant special awareness, anticipation, and commanding voice are exemplary. Max is a tenacious defender. He closes spaces quickly and can often read plays beforehand. In addition, his technical qualities allow for him to always help the team play effectively out of the back.
Victor Larotta
Victor Larotta is the captain and Center back on the U15 boys blue team. For our first league game, Victor led by example helping us to build our attack from the back while calmly keeping possession of the ball and continuously finding passes to his teammates. He was excellent defensively making many timely tackles and recognizing when to pressure or when to cover his teammates. Victor displays his leadership abilities during each practice and game and is always asking what he can improve upon.
Josh Wasserman
Josh is new to the club and has quickly demonstrated the quality he brings to the team. He’s a tenacious RB that brings intensity and bravery to our defensive line while playing smart and composed. He’s a great example for others to follow!
Matias Imperio
First game playing as a central midfielder on our debut game. organized, was very effective defensively and offensively.
Samuel Osorio
Player of the last two weeks for U13 Black. Samu presented an exceptional endurance playing two full games this past weekend, intelligent player, great eye for the goal, attacking the goal fearlessly with speed and intelligence. Key player for the championship in Lakewood Ranches two weeks ago, playing also as a CF and surprisingly well as a CB whenever the team needed. The player has been already invited to practice once a week by the 2008 MLS Elite Reserves as CB, a great reward for such multipurpose player. Well deserved nomination.
Salvatore Rodriguez-Jordan
Salvatore was extremely discipline the whole game. Help both on defense, offense and created many scoring opportunities for his teammates.
Samuel Echeverry
Samuel Echeverry plays for U13 Reserves. He was crucial in the teams succes to penetrate in the final third. He played good through balls, dribbled past defenders, took good shots on goal, crossed quality balls which lead to goals. He also moved off the ball well and combined with teammates to create many offensive opportunities.
Lucas Malarski
Lucas Malarski Played an exceptional game this Sunday scoring 2 goals. He put lots of pressure on their defense that made the opposing team commit mistakes and capitalized on them. Played very aggressive on the final third and made smart decisions which gave him many scoring opportunities.
Donovan Valdez
Instrumental in a 2-0 victory for U17 Reserves at the weekend. He displayed exceptional technique, intelligent play, industrious work ethic and a good eye for goal. Recruited from the premier white team where he was under the guidance of Coach Nefer, Donovan now finds himself as a key player in the U17 Academy Reserves. One to keep a eye out for.
