Coaching Highlights:
Javier has been coaching for 7 years where he has led his teams to win multiple championships such as FYSA State Championship, Southern Regional Championship, Region III Premier League, among others. Javier’s latest accomplishment was to lead the Weston 2005 boys to win the Danone Cup. The team went on to compete in the Danone World Finals in New York.

In 2015, Javier joined US Soccer as a national team scout. He was responsible for identifying talented prospects for the US youth national teams. In 2017, Javier also joined the Olympic Development Program Region III (ODP) staff.

In 2016, Javier was named Head Coach for NPSL, semi-pro team, Storm FC. Javier currently holds Storm FC’s most winning games and most points in a season.

Javier invites the challenge to coach professionally in a near future. “Competing in the NPSL against professional clubs such as Tampa Bay Rowdies U23 (USL), and Jacksonville Armada U23 (NASL) was positive and encouraging experience”.

In 2017, Javier joined USSDA Weston FC as the 2005 Boys Head Coach.

Personal: 
Javier was born on October 26, 1986 in Lima, Peru. In 2005-09, he attended Florida Atlantic University graduating with a double-major in International Business & Trade, and Marketing. Then, he continued to pursue a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Javier currently holds a USSF A license. Javier approaches coaching as a daily opportunity to positively influence players’ development on and off the field. Javier states: “Some of these players may have an opportunity to compete at higher levels, but all
of them will be part of our society. It is our responsibility to prepare them to be good citizens”.
