Weston FC’s technical team has experience at the Olympic, Professional, NCAA, Regional ODP and State level. The WFC staff includes coaches who hold their USSF “A”, “B”, “C”, & “D” National Licenses, State D & E Licenses, National Youth Licenses, and many others who have been being awarded the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
Our coaches enable WFC teams to compete in Premier Divisions in SFU, State Leagues, Region Leagues, and in nationally recognized tournaments throughout the country. These include Atlanta Cup, CASL Shootout and Showcase, Jefferson Cup, Las Vegas Showcase, Manchester Cup, and Texas Shootout.
Our female athletes are strongly encouraged to participate in high visibility tournaments and leagues, as the club looks to expand their soccer experiences. As our players and families make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives, our aim is to utilize the extensive knowledge and insight our staff possesses to assist players with their future decisions. Providing continuing education for players and parents is fundamental to the Club’s programming.

License: Tim holds his NSCAA National Diploma, NSCAA GK Level 1 and 2 and NSCAA Director of Coaching license as well as the USSF National Youth Diploma.
Coaching Experience: Tim Miller has been coaching for almost 20 years. While playing in college, Tim began coaching and training at the high school level and moved to Florida in 2000. Tim began his club coaching at Boca United FC from 2002-2008. He would eventually become Director of Coaching of the girls program at Kicks SC/FC Florida from 2008-2014 developing players that would go into US National Youth training camps and various collegiate programs around the nation.
Education: He has a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Physical Education and Health Education from Shepherd University and a masters in Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Tim has been a teacher and administrator for 15 years. Tim attended NCAA DII Shepherd University where he started all four years earning all conference honors as a forward.
Awards: Tim was the Florida Youth Soccer Association Girls Competitive Coach of the year in 2010. Tim is a trainer and scout for both the US Soccer Federation Training Centers in Florida and US Club Soccer ID2 program.

- From August 2007 until June 2011 he was a head coach of the Cayman Islands national football team.

We would like to welcome Alexa Diaz to our Girls Academy Staff. Alexa will be our College Program Director/Girls Academy Administrator.
Alexa has previously worked with US Soccer Youth National Teams for a number of years. She played collegiate soccer at Seattle Pacific University; as well as professionally with the Women’s Seattle Sounders and Philippine Women’s National Team for 5 years. While playing professionally and coaching youth soccer, she received her Master’s in Education from the University of Washington. With her experience in playing, coaching, administration and education, we are excited to have Alexa help educate our young players on the many opportunities elite soccer can offer.
