2020-21 Team of the Week – Week 15

Omar had an excellent weekend. Three games two clean sheets, numerous saves and stopped two penalty kicks. Omar gives his team confidence by his amazing play on goal.

Kenny is one of the captains on the team and he gives heart every second on the pitch. Kenny was instrumental in the team winning IMG showcase this weekend by playing the wingback position and assisting in the offensive attack as well as being the beast on the defensive side as well. Always the player that gives 1000% every time he is out on the pitch and a player primed for greatness.

Jake was without a doubt the MVP this weekend. Playing every minute of the 3 90minute clashes Jake was on his game. Playing exclusively as the 6 for the past 4 months Jake was thrown backwards into CB duty in the first game and played that role the rest of the tournament. Jake displayed bravado and intelligence throughout each match making it extremely difficult for the opposing team to penetrate or even get shots on frame. Truly amazing young warrior dedicated to perfection and playing at the highest level possible. Great work Jake

He had a great weekend performance versus Doral and Barća. Made great tackles and kept the defense organized by being very compact. His awareness reading his opponents moves were exceptional. He scored an ( Olimpico goal ) Keep up the great work Santiago. ??????????⚽️?

Robert Anghel has shown a lot of improvement in the past quarter. After a shy start, Robert engaged to the team’s strategies and the club’s training program, increasing his skills and participating a lot more actively in games. Robert has a great potential and his willingnesses to succeed has helped him to achieve his goals. Way to go Robert A!!!

Miguel has been outstanding at the 6 position playing it simple, switching the point of the attack, and never losing the ball with his composure and IQ of the game. His presence in the midfield helped us dominate the midfield, both offensively and defensively, in our 6-0 win on our 3rd President Cup group stage game to secure the spot to the next round. High level player!

Sebastian is new to the club. Sebastian has been a great addition to the team. He has great vision, reads the game and makes numerous perfect through balls to his teammates. Sebastian is also scored a last minute winning goal, while the team was down a player due to injuries to other players.

Lucas had an outstanding weekend playing a key role in his teams win on Saturday vs Tampa Bay Rowdies. He was involved in many key moments of the game & helped his team secure the win. Sunday morning he continued in the midfield. This time scoring a Hat-trick vs West Florida Flames! Keep up the great work Lucas!!

Sebastian showed that he is one of the top wingers in our organization this weekend. Sebastian was the key that made this car go. His pace on the ball was untouchable and his work in the final third was textbook which allowed his team to get the goals needed to win the IMG Showcase this weekend. In all three games Sebastian was the player that demonstrated what it takes to get the offense involved. Great job to Sebastian.

Hilario was outstanding in his match vs Schulz Academy in the EDP league this weekend. He played with tons of confidence in the final third continuously making the right decisions for his team & in the process, scoring a hat-trick helping his team to a 5-2 victory! Keep up the great work Hilario!!

Zidane had an outstanding weekend leading his team to 2 wins scoring a combined 5 goals. He had a hat trick vs Tampa Bay Rowdies & 2 goals the next day with West Florida Flames. Zidane continues to improve tremendously on a weekly basis with a clear understanding of what we are trying to accomplish as a team! Keep up the great work Zidane!!
