Ares Michaelides has been involved with the Weston soccer community since 2000 in various capacities, including coaching and serving on the board of directors. For the past six years, Ares has served as the VP of the Boys Premier Program, managing all strategic and administrative aspects for the boys side of the club. Ares holds a USSF D license and played as a collegiate All-American at Drew University in New Jersey. Today, he still plays in the Weston Adult League. Professionally, after starting his career in finance and banking in New York City, Ares has spent the last twenty years as a senior executive in the cruise industry. Ares, a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds an undergraduate degree from Drew University and two Masters degrees from the London School of Economics. Ares has three children, each of which has played with the club throughout their entire soccer careers.
Todd was raised in West Palm Beach and has been living in Weston for 10 years. He has a 13 year old son, an 11 year old daughter, who plays for the FC and a 6 year old son. Todd went to the University of Florida and then to Life University, where he studied to be a chiropractor. Todd is the owner of Total Health Care of Florida. Todd played high school soccer and is an avid fan of youth sports. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family.
Tony is a long-time Weston resident and holds an International Business Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. An IT & Business Processes Consultant by profession, Tony leads the Energy & Utilities practice at IBM Corporation. He has also served as an executive at other prominent multinationals such as Oracle Corporation, Scientech and other private consulting firms. Tony brings extensive experience to the financial management and planning of the Clubs’ operations and has been a key member of the Board of Directors for the past six years. He has assisted on the formulation of key strategies that has driven the consolidation of WFC as one of the most prestigious Youth Soccer Clubs in the nation. Tony’s oldest son, Gianfranco (18) graduated from the program and is now playing at CalTech’s Soccer team. Stefano (14), currently plays in the U15 White. When not traveling for work, you are bound to see Tony taking pictures at the fields during the weekends.
Steve Lewis has been a member of the Weston soccer community for over thirteen years as a coach and board member for various youth sports organizations. In his present role as V.P. of Operations for Weston FC, Steve governs the board’s relationship with the city as well as dealing with the day-to-day operation of the club. Professionally, Steve is the Managing Director for a national procurement group based in South Florida. Steve earned an MBA degree from Florida Atlantic University. Steve grew up in South Florida playing club soccer in Plantation. Steve also played for his US Army Military Police team while serving in Europe and has played in several adult leagues. Steve has earned his NSCAA Advanced National diploma (USSF “B” equivalent), NSCAA Advanced Youth National diploma and NSCAA State Goal Keeper diploma. Steve is married and has three children.
Stephen Enriquez has been with the club since 2003. He joined the board of directors in 2004 as Treasurer. He was part of the team that transformed the Weston Cup from a local tournament to a national event with over 600 teams. He became the Club’s President in 2007 and was instrumental in obtaining the U.S. Development Academy program for Weston FC. Recently, he led Weston FC’s entry into the NPSL and now serves as Vice President of the U.S. Development Academy program and the NPSL program.
Chris has been a Weston resident for the past 10 years and holds an MBA from New York University and a BA in International Relations from Bucknell University. Chris is currently the EVP Sales and Marketing for a private equity-owned technology company. He is also the Founder and a Board Member of a Florida-based venture capital backed start-up named Elevated (formerly Candidate.Guru) where he raised millions in capital from Florida investors including The Florida Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research backed by the Governor. Chris’ oldest son, Maxwell (16) plays for the U17 Weston Academy team and his younger son Alexander (14) plays for the U16 Black team. His daughter Gabriella (10) is following in her brother’s footsteps playing U11 this year. Soccer is Chris’ life outside of work. It became a family passion for Chris and his wife Julia when they lived in London for 2 1/2 years watching Team USA superstars like Clint Dempsey play for Fulham.
