Boys’ Technical Director

Summary – As the Technical Director at Weston FC, Victor’s leadership role includes the development and implementation of the overall curriculum for our Premier & Academy programs for Boys. Victor’s vast experience make him a key member of Weston FC’s technical leadership. He has USSF Youth National Team Staff experience, coached professional at Miami FC and was head Talent Scout for U.S., Central America and the Caribbean for Traffic Sports. Victor also held the position of Director of Coaching and Head Men’s Coach at Kendall SC where he brought the USSF academy program to the club after leading many teams to State Cup and National Championships through his emphasis on player development. Victor was also named South 2011 Conference Coach of the Year by the US Soccer Development Academy, last season (2013 - 2014) as head coach led our U16 Weston FC academy team to the South east division academy league championship.

Education and Licenses – Bachelor in Arts and Sciences (Economics), December 2003.

Carlos Parra

Girls’ Technical Director

Summary – Carlos oversees the entire program, including the coaches, and works with all of the girls’ teams and players. He is the Director of the Girls Developmental Academy, which enters its first year at Weston FC.

He holds both the USSF “A” License and National Youth License and also the NSCAA Director of Coaching License. He is also a member of the US Soccer Federation Scouting group, and a Coerver Licensed Coach.

Carlos originally came to Weston FC in 2005 as a full time staff coach and was a part of Weston FC’s first full time staff. He became Technical Director during 2008 and led the entire club before moving to Atlanta in 2014, where he oversaw a successful girls’ program and ECNL club.

As a player, Carlos was the first Project 40 player to be signed by Major League Soccer where he played for the New York Metro Stars, Miami Fusion and New England Revolution. He also trained in Italy with AC Milan, in England with Sunderland F.C. and was a member of the US Youth National team that went to the World Championships held in Malaysia, in 1997.

Tricia Taliaferro

Girls’ Pre-Academy Director

Summary – Tricia oversees the entire program, including the coaches, and works with all of the girls’ teams and players.

She holds both the USSF “A” License and USSF Youth National License and has a BA from the University of Maryland. Tricia joined Weston FC from the US Women Youth National Team staff where she was a developmental coach and in charge of the U16 girls National Team programming and training camps. She has worked closely with US soccer women’s Technical Director April Heinrichs, and the other developmental coaches, in all aspects of the USA’s youth national team programs. Tricia has also served as a scout and has been running US Soccer Training Centers in Florida since 2011.

Weston FC Boys’ Sports Science Director

Summary - Dr. Daniel Serravite is an accomplished exercise physiologist that devotes his work to academia and soccer performance. His academic activity as a faculty at Florida International University centers on Sport Science Research and teaching. He also has a vast experience working with youth and professional soccer players at the national and international level. Dr. Serravite collaborates with the US Soccer Federation as a sport scientist specialist for both, the men’s U.S. National Youth Program and Coaching Education department. As Weston FC’s Sport Science Director, he oversees the strength and conditioning, sport science education and education of the boys’ program including Premier as well as the U.S. Soccer Development Academy programs.
