Director of Coaching - Boys

Under the direction of Technical Director and Director of USDA, Victor Pastora, this technical team has experience at the Olympic, Professional, NCAA, Regional ODP and State level.

Victor Pastora serves as the Club’s Technical Director with Alessandro Sbrizzo, Boys Director of Coaching for U8-U12, Mirco is Boys Director of Coaching for U13-U14 and Brandon Collins, Boys Director of Coaching for U15-U18. The WFC staff includes coaches who hold their USSF “A”, “B”, “C”, & “D” National Licenses, State D & E Licenses, National Youth Licenses, and many others who have been being awarded the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.

Under the direction of these Program Directors, our coaches enable WFC teams to compete in Premier Divisions in SFU, State Leagues, Region Leagues, and in nationally recognized tournaments throughout the country. These include Atlanta Cup, CASL Shootout and Showcase, Jefferson Cup, Las Vegas Showcase, Manchester Cup, and Texas Shootout.

Our male athletes are strongly encouraged to participate in high visibility tournaments and leagues, as the club looks to expand their soccer experiences.  As our players and families make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives, our aim is to utilize the extensive knowledge and insight our staff possesses to assist players with their future decisions.  Providing continuing education for players and parents is fundamental to the Club’s programming.

Juanca Michia

Director of Coaching: Boys

Prior to Weston, Juanca was with the US Soccer Federation (USSF) for 19 years. During his time with USSF he helped run the minority program and scout for the Olympic Team. In addition, Juanca has served as assistant coach U14, U15, and U18 Youth National Teams. He has also served as part of the coaching staff for three FIFA Youth World Cups (two with the U20s and one with the U17s).

Playing Experience: Juanca played professionally over the span of 14 years, beginning his career in Argentina with Quilmes Athletic Club before coming to the State where he played in the MISL, NASL, and NPSL.

License: Juanca holds the USSF A License & Youth Technical Director License. In addition, he has been teaching the USSF A, B, and C license for 16 years; and has instructed international coaching seminars in South America (Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay) and Europe (Hollan, Spain, England, Germany, Belgium).

Director of Coaching: Boys U8 - U12

He worked as Technical Director in Italy for a semi-pro club and after moving to Florida he worked at the AC Milan Academy (Key Biscayne, Aventura) and ran many AC Milan Camps around the United States and South America.

Playing Experience: Alessandro played professionally in Italy in Serie A and B for 13 years.

Alessandro is a former player from Napoli, Pescara. After he retired he began his coaching career.

Significant Contribution: He has assisted many Weston FC players in professional placement, thanks to the many contacts he maintains in Europe and Italian organizations.

License: Alessandro holds UEFA B and USSF B licenses.

Coaching Experience: Weston FC since 2008, Archbishop McCarthy Head Coach

Playing Experience: Nationally ranked Carson Newman College where he made two consecutive NCAA championship appearances

Significant Awards: Coached teams to numerous tournament victories and, most recently took his U14 team to State Cup Round of 16.
